Get inspired by our MOMO Ambassadors

Our festival ambassadors are artists, creatives, and longtime MOMO companions who know the festival. They’re here to share their personal highlights, hidden gems, and must-see performances to help you navigate the program and make the most of  your MOMO Festival 2025.

We’ll be introducing new ambassadors regularly – explore their tips, discover their festival and Rotterdam gems, and get inspired below!

Hélène Vrijdag

Rotterdam-based performer, singer, writer and weaver Hélène Vrijdag and MOMO go way back. And we’re thrilled to welcome her back to MOMO Festival 2025 as a ambassador and with the performance My sweet nasty lunacy – a wild ride through a hysterical hyperpop EP and an angry ode to the weird femme.

In her interview she shares her top tips for this year’s festival: don’t miss Amos Peled’s technological conceptual art, and her own performance in R3LN4CHT (of course!). Her personal tips extend to discovering Pongo, finding calm with Bahghi, and getting hands-on at the Kiosk Zine Making Workshop—a perfect match for her love of paper and words.
