Festival venues

MOMO Festival 2026 takes place across a range of remarkable venues in Rotterdam, from major cultural institutions to intimate city spaces. A full overview of all festival locations can be found on the locations page of the MOMO website.

Theater Rotterdam at Schouwburgplein is where your festival visit begins. This is the place to pick up your wristband and find all practical information. Outside on the square you’ll find Playground, our free outdoor stage with music, talks, workshops and performances on 17 and 18 April.

You will also experience MOMO throughout the city at Arminius, BIRD, Roodkapje, Rotown, WORM and several nearby spaces. Each location has its own atmosphere and plays a distinct role within the festival.

Please note that all venues operate with a maximum capacity. Once a space is full, no further entry is possible. We recommend arriving early to ensure access to the performances you want to see.

For performances in the Theater Rotterdam venues, late entry is not permitted. Once a performance has started, entering or leaving the space is not possible.

Accessibility

We aim for our festival to be easily accessible to everyone and that is why we have our festival tested for accessibility by Marianne Dijkshoorn of the consultancy firm Welcome Accessibility & Events.

Do you have a question about accessibility, do you need help with something or do you want a stool/wheelchair space at a certain location? Please email at least 2 days before the festival to: support@motelmozaique.nl.

On the Accessibility page, you will find information about all the different locations of MOMO 2026, followed by some (extra) information about assistance dogs, the hidden disabilities sunflower key-chord, floor angels, our code of conduct, sign language interpreters/support and strobe lights.
