MOMO Festival 2026 takes place across a range of iconic venues in Rotterdam, from major cultural institutions to intimate city spaces. A full overview of all festival locations can be found on the locations page of the MOMO website.
Schouwburgplein and Theater Rotterdam is where your festival visit begins. This is the place to pick up your wristband and find all practical information. Outside on the square you’ll find Schouwburgplein, with our free outdoor Playground program with music, talks and workshops on 17 and 18 April.
Maximum capacity
Please note that all venues operate with a maximum capacity. Once a space is full, we use a one-in, one-out system. We recommend arriving early to ensure access to the performances you want to see.
For performances at Theater Rotterdam locations (Kleine Zaal, The Kitchen), Bonza, and the performances by Khadija El Kharraz Alami & Cheb Runner at 160K, stricter rules apply: once the performance has started, entry is not permitted and there is no one in one out policy. Should you leave, re-entry is not possible.
Access to the Grote Zaal of Theater Rotterdam opens 15–20 minutes before each performance.
Plan your route
Please note: Construction works around Hofplein may affect accessibility to some festival venues, including BIRD, Muziekwerf and Bonza. Weena towards Hofplein is closed until June 2026. Check rotterdam.nl for the latest public transport information and plan your route in advance.
