Festival 2026
Truman Sinclair
At the tender age of 23, Truman Sinclair already has a whole artist’s life cycle in the rearview, fronting emo cult favorites Frat Mouse and shredding away with experimental rockers Fat Evil Children. He also cut his teeth as a talented producer and engineer under the tutelage of Grammy-winning noodler Dave Sardy, who helmed records by the likes of Oasis, The Who and Johnny Cash.
Such praise would make any aspiring music head quite dizzy, never mind that Sinclair is considered one of the brightest young songwriters emerging from the underground. His 2025 debut LP American Recordings, released on R&R (the same label as Dijon and Mk.gee) draws inspiration from the canon of legends like Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan – its songs reflecting the increasingly fractured landscape of modern America.
“A raw new voice amid the noise, Chicago-born and LA-based songwriter Truman Sinclair is fusing American history with urgent emotion and folk-emo anthems.“ – The Line of Best Fit
