Son Little

Son Little returns to Rotterdam following his sold-out show at LantarenVenster in 2024. This time, he brings his new album CITYFOLK (March 2026), offering a fresh wave of music shaped by soul, blues, folk, hip-hop, and R&B – without ever settling fully into any one space.

The American artist has worked with The Roots, RJD2, and Portugal. the Man, and produced soul legend Mavis Staples’ 2015 EP (including a GRAMMY-winning track). Over the past decade, he’s cultivated a sound that’s entirely his own – raw, expressive, and always evolving. Recent singles “in orbit” and “be better” offer a first glimpse of what’s to come.

Son Little’s live show moves fluidly between deep grooves, stripped-down intimacy, and moments that feel completely improvised yet emotionally precise. Whether performing solo or with a full band, his performances are grounded in the richness of his voice and the depth of his songwriting. Audiences are pulled into songs built on texture and vulnerability, delivered with equal parts grit and grace.

Following a run through the UK and Europe supporting Larkin Poe, Son Little brings his distinctive voice back to Rotterdam for an intimate evening that’s not just a setlist – it’s an experience.
