Under the name Matthew and the Atlas, singer-songwriter Matthew Hegarty writes warm, acoustic folk songs laced with subtle electronics and arranged pop. With profound lyrics and Hegarty’s warm voice, Matthew and the Atlas manages to touch audiences and take them on an emotional journey. The songs are poetic stories and have themes of love, loss and the search for meaning in life.
Matthew and the Atlas’ performance, however, is not a regular band show. It is a solo performance where Hegarty performs his songs in an intimate way. With just his voice and an acoustic guitar, he manages to create an intimate atmosphere that takes the audience to the essence of his music.
This concert is organised by Rotown, Motel Mozaique Concerts and LantarenVenster and has seating only (free choice of seats).
