Mamas Gun, fronted by Andy Platts (known from Young Gun Silver Fox), has spent years building a strong reputation within modern soul. With millions of streams and Top 10 hits across four continents, they know how to captivate an audience from the first note.

In 2026, the band opens a new chapter. As a UK soul quintet, they release their sixth studio album DIG!, a record that returns to the core of their sound. Recorded on analog tape, with room for groove, feel, and musicality, the album feels like a conscious step toward purity. On the title track, the band collaborates with Brian Jackson, a name deeply rooted in soul and jazz history. This collaboration gives the album extra weight and shows where Mamas Gun stands today.

Their sound moves between soul, funk, and jazz – tight grooves, warm instrumentation, and vocals that fall seamlessly together. Live, this translates into a show that’s rock-solid yet always leaves room for energy and interaction.
