Nigerian-born, London-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Banks first introduced his expressive blend of soul, R&B, folk and hip-hop with a series of self-released EPs. Shortly after signing to the great Interscope Records, he made his full-length debut with Village in 2018 to worldwide critical acclaim.

In the summer of 2022, Banks’ second album Lies About The War was released on his own label Nobody Records, featuring the powerful single Just When I Thought. At the end of that year, Banks performed in a sold-out main hall of the Maassilo, and on 20 March 2025 he will return there with new music from his (what will be) Yonder: Book trilogy!
