Gallowstreet

With their upcoming album FUTUREBRASS, Rotterdam brass collective Gallowstreet brings the brass band genre firmly into the 21st century. By melting synthesizers with effect-processed brass instruments, they create a sound inspired by the French Touch movement – think Daft Punk, Justice, and Air, but reimagined through powerful horn sections and cinematic production.

Because their music is entirely instrumental, Gallowstreet constructs a world through sound. Each track functions as a chapter in a larger sonic universe, brought to life through striking visuals and immersive live production. This journey moves from dystopian cyberpunk toward solarpunk – a hopeful, green utopia where systemic issues are addressed. Epic melodic themes meet groove-driven basslines, filtered disco samples blend with warm analog synthesizers, and electronic textures intertwine with acoustic brass. The result is club-functional, pop-accessible, and cinematically ambitious.
