Scottish band Belle and Sebastian returns with their 30th anniversary tour celebrating two landmark albums: Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister, both released in 1996. These records achieved iconic status over the decades, with Pitchfork calling Tigermilk “immaculate” and The Guardian praising If You’re Feeling Sinister as “subtly poetic, wickedly funny, and gorgeously melodic.”

In Theater Rotterdam, Belle and Sebastian will perform Tigermilk in full, followed by a second set of classic Belle and Sebastian songs.

Since their early work, the band has continued to develop their sound. Recent albums A Bit of Previous (2022) and Late Developers (2023) show the band embracing their brightest tendencies with fresh, immediate work. Frontman Stuart Murdoch has also pursued other creative endeavors, including his debut novel Nobody’s Empire, which The Guardian called “radiantly written.” This tour celebrates both the enduring legacy of their foundational albums and the band’s continued creative presence.
