Tickets on sale Friday 18 September 10:00 AM via Stager.

anaiis brings her Devotion & the Black Divine tour to BIRD! Following the performance at a packed BIRD during MOMO Festival 2026, the London-based French-Senegalese artist brings her powerful and soft neo-soul sound back to Rotterdam.

anaiis writes transportive progressive soul aglow with cosmic daydreaming and illuminated with inner knowledge. Inspired by Maya Angelou, Nina Simone, Octavia Butler and bell hooks (anaiis keeps her name in lowercase as a tribute to hooks), she uses her influences to build out multi-disciplinary works that invite us to sit between something fantastical and grounded all at once.

On her latest album Devotion & The Black Divine, songs swell with emotional clarity and a growing sense of homecoming – not to a place, but to the self. It marks an ongoing progression that began during a pivotal stint in Brazil, when a collaborative mini-album, anaiis & Grupo Cosmo, was created through live improvisation. Following its release, Devotion & The Black Divine was included as an album of the year by New Yorker (who also highlighted “Green Juice” as a song of the year), Apple Music, BBC 6, and Wordplay Magazine, amidst high praise from The Guardian, The Observer, Rolling Stone UK, BBC, Numéro, Crack Magazine, CLASH, and more.

“Elite class of song. I want this with me after the apocalypse“ – The New Yorker

“Her powerful voice soothes with words of affirmation over a soft, skipping neo-soul bassline”  – Crack Magazine
