When talking about a capital city powerhouse, we’re talking about Benny Sings. In addition to captivating audiences worldwide, the singer seems to have struck a chord with like-minded artists. As such, he has collaborated with the likes of Mac DeMarco, Tom Misch and released the monster hit “Loving Is Easy” with Rex Orange Country. On top of all this, Benny Sings also recorded a session for NPR’s famed Tiny Desk Concerts. The momentum seems unstoppable.

Benny’s music sounds as fresh and upbeat as ever, as it does on his latest single “The Only One,” taken from the new album “Young Hearts,” out now on the renowned Stones Throw. It is infused with that wonderful breezy, lo-fi pop sound we all love so much and draws inspiration from movements such as hip-hop, soul and jazz. Benny Sings is celebrating his 20th anniversary this year and is bringing the party to the Maassilo!
