Tax benefits of donating

Thanks to the Giving Act, donating to a cultural organization with ANBI status comes with tax advantages. Motel Mozaïque is a cultural ANBI, which means your donation may be (partly) deductible from your taxable income.

What does this mean?

• You can deduct 125% of your donation from your taxable income.
• Donations to multiple cultural ANBIs can be added together.
• The maximum amount eligible for the 125% deduction is €5,000 per year. Any amount above this can still be deducted at the regular rate (100%).
• These benefits apply to both one-time and recurring donations.

One-time donations
One-time donations are deductible when your total annual donations exceed the threshold amount:

• The threshold is 1% of your taxable income, with a minimum of €60.
• The amount above this threshold is tax deductible.
• You can deduct up to 10% of your taxable income.

Recurring donations
Recurring (periodic) donations are fully deductible, without thresholds or maximum limits. A recurring donation is a fixed annual amount for a minimum of five years.
