TAAHLIAH isn’t interested in pop music as an hermetically sealed statement. The Glasgow-based DJ and producer somehow manages to sound as thrilling through your headphones as blaring just outside the club doors. Her boisterous EP ‘Angelica’ turned TAAHLIAH into an icon overnight, channeling the physicality of the dance floor as good as any artist in the history of recorded music.

TAAHLIAH’s most recent album ‘Gramarye’ adds new sonic and emotional depth to her craft, exploring softer, more melodic textures and more vulnerable expressions, using her singing voice for the first time. If her viral Boiler Room set is any indication, a TAAHLIAH set is a habitually unpredictable, hard-charging dopamine-feast, nailing that rare sweet spot between pop levity and daredevil experimentation.

“TAAHLIAH doesn’t create the same work, she experiments in ways you wouldn’t expect from the producer: guitar, unedited vocals and string instruments all feature” – Mixmag

“A meteor blazing across the night sky, her approach to music-making shifts from one song to the next, refusing to repeat herself in the process” – Clash
