Time immediately slows down in the alt country/folk songs of Romy Liz Rose, and lets everything in: the fragrance of flowers and eucalyptus riding a summer’s breeze, the crickets and frogs in symphony at the lake, the sorrows of yesterday swallowed by the promise of an early morning. 

The Rotterdam-based artist draws from luminaries of both past and present to summon songs of confession, growing pains and yearning, peppered with the lushest of textures and melodies. Melancholy, rapture and desire all stored in the same creaky cupboard: polished and ready-made for slippery dirt roads and sun-kissed horizons alike.
