QUANZA is a genre-defying Afro-Surinamese artist whose raw, untamed energy fuses into an electrifying, futuristic psychedelic rock/hip-hop concoction. Described as a love child between Jimi Hendrix and N.E.R.D, QUANZA’s magnetic performances veer somewhere between punk incursion and spiritual awakening, turning stages into wildfires. 

His music has been championed by BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, Mixmag, and Patta, and praised by Jazzism and Gitarist NL for its explosive originality. His 2024 debut EP OPEN THE GATES was praised in Jazzism and Gitarist NL, the latter nominating him as Best World/Fusion Guitarist of the Year. 

QUANZA produced and featured on the opening track of Bnnyhunna’s acclaimed project Echoes of Prayer, which later won an Edison Award. His contribution was also noted in Rolling Stone Africa, further establishing him as an emerging force in the global music scene.
