Vanildo Varela invites you onto the trails of a dancer. The Move With Me tour takes you through the heart of Rotterdam and shows that dance is not something exceptional, but a way of being in the world. Moving through open spaces and iconic dance locations, you’ll discover how dance culture shapes the rhythm of a city.

Along the way, you’ll meet creatives and communities who share their stories and move something within and around you. Through conversation and playful activations, you become part of a temporary community.

Move With Me explores movement as a quiet force: something that connects, heals and brings joy. In a society of fast motion and distance, this tour slows the pace just enough to notice what is already alive in the streets and in yourself.

Meet your guide
Vanildo Varela is a dancer, theatre maker and dance instructor committed to making club cultures more visible, both inside and beyond the theatre. Connected to the energy of the street and the club, he creates projects centred around connection, community and movement. His platform House Jam Rotterdam builds a sustainable dance community in the city and provides a space for expression and collective growth.

Vanildo’s work moves between performance, education and social engagement, bringing together different generations and backgrounds. He collaborates with organisations such as ISH Dance Collective and develops projects that bring house, waacking and other club styles into social spaces.
