Keenan raids from an incredibly rangy amount of influences, molding them into something distinctly his. The beat wizardry of J Dilla, the hardcore punk pounce of Bad Brains, the cutting edge noise of Death Grips, the revisionist production chops of Lee “Scratch” Perry – it’s all in there somewhere.
