BINA.’s distinct mix of alternative R&B, soul and bedroom pop feels weightless, cinematic and intoxicating. The title of her excellent 2024 EP Chaos Is Her Name pretty much sums it up: BINA. isn’t too concerned with fitting into a specific mold, unfurling a woozy, multi-layered sound that flows freely like billows of smoke. 

Her mercurial talents as both singer and producer haven’t gone unnoticed, earning co-signs from Korey Radical, KOKOROKO and Isaiah Rashad, while hitting the road with none other than Little Simz. It’s pretty obvious BINA. is next up when it comes to modern soul innovators, right in the slipstream of Solange and Kelela.
