This Paris-based act – formerly going by the name QuinzeQuinze – blends cutting-edge electronica, ambient, breakbeat, dancehall and Polynesian ori deck spirituals into cinematic, widescreen compositions. Some of them even extend to 15-minute films, like on “NEVANEVA”.

Thematically, 15 15 draws from myths and rituals of their Tahitian heritage, which translate into some original, enrapturing music. It often extends to some surrealistic visuals that stay etched onto your retinas. Channeling the carefree, playful spirit of their home island, the band cares deeply about bringing marginalised voices to the foreground and keenly maintaining an independent spirit.
