Geef een Toegift!

We want our festival to remain accessible to the people of Rotterdam. One way we achieve this is by hosting MOMO Playground, a free program during MOMO Festival, with live music, workshops, guided tours and more. However, we also want our paid programme to be accessible to those on a limited budget. This is why we’ve partnered up with Ticketbank to distribute tickets through the “Geef een Toegift” initiative.

 

What is “Geef een Toegift?”

“Geef een toegift” (“Give an Encore”) is an initiative by a union of festivals including Eurosonic Noorderslag, O., Le Guess Who? and many more, to stimulate inclusion within the cultural sector. When purchasing a festival ticket , you have the option to buy an extra one to donate to someone who might otherwise not have the budget for it.

 

How does it work?

This year, we have partnered up with Ticketbank, a Rotterdam-based collective. Ticketbank collects and distributes tickets for cultural and sports events in Rotterdam through their platform. Ticketbank works with Voedselbank Rotterdam and Nieuw Vaarwater to ensure that these tickets are made available to eligible Rotterdammers. 

 

How do I donate?

Donating is simple! You can donate through our ticketshop. Select your tickets, proceed to checkout and then select the option “Geef een Toegift.” Your donated  ticket will be sent to Ticketbank, where it will be made available on their platform for someone to claim it.
