Roos Rebergen has been active since 2008 as Roosbeef, a marvelously defined universe in which she arranges the fabric of the Dutch language and pop music according to her idiosyncratic wavelength. Since her breakthrough album “Ze Willen Wel Je Hond Aaien, Maar Niet Met Je Praten” Roosbeef surprises and amazes with humorous songs that do not follow the traditional trajectories, but instead take those strange side routes and elephant paths. On the two records that followed, Omdat Ik Dat Wil and KALF, Rebergen maintains the art of blowing new insights into even the most conventional life themes.

The feeling that one gets from a Roosbeef song cannot be found anywhere else. It forces introspection and it yearns for a deeper desire to understand the world, knowing that no one ever really will. Nevertheless, Roos tries to figure it out in her own way anyway, getting a little closer with every song. On February 18, 2023, she will present her new album to you in Rotown. This record is predominantly centered around capturing the cherished ‘live feeling’ the band has sorely missed during the times of Covid, so we expect it to be an unforgettable evening!

Pauwel provides the support act. His new album Dear has already managed to touch the heart of many an indie folk fan, and for his Rotown show he will bring his intimate songs to life accompanied by his backing band.
