J. Bernardt a.k.a. Jinte Deprez is a bit of an all-rounder; singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, arranger, producer, engineer, programmer. While the sound of debut album Running Days was shaped by electronics, the new album Contigo was created the old-school way, together with a band – more specifically a group of Deprez’s “super-talented” friends whom he led through intense rehearsals and performances, “in search to that spark.”

Contigo – Spanish for “with you” – is a dramatic, compelling and colorful work, steeped in drama and brought to life through lush melodies, vocals and production details from a masterful studio author, as well as a musical innovator and singer. Contigo explores all phases of a breakup: shock, sadness, anger, denial, pain, acceptance… and becomes ‘relentlessly romantic’ in the process.
