In 2003 the line-up of MOMO Festival started growing with a vast amount of local and international acts, featuring Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Jason Molina, The Faint, Compagnie Pal Frenak, das pop, Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) & The Jicks, Something Corporate, Erlend Øye, Face Tomorrow, The Kills, Tom Barman (dEUS), The Trills, Admiral Freebee, Love with Arthur Lee, Postmen, Arno, Cinematic Orchestra (soundtrack Man with the Movie Camera), Oud Hud, Dj Marky with XRS and DRS and many more.
“Like a spring flower that blossoms in a flowing movement. ‘Motel Mozaïque’ has been working on embedding and appearance in the Rotterdam city center since 2001, but it was only this weekend that the adventurous arts festival really got a grip on that quite difficult ‘epicenter’. In 2003 also took place the first edition of the spin off event Bazar Curieux, featuring Peaches, 2ManyDJ’s, Joost van Bellen, NU, Quannum Projects, Dureforsog, Fat Truckers.
