Not much is known yet about CUSK: but what we do know about the band is already enough to be extremely excited. The band, first of all, is fronted by actress Esmé Creed-Miles (Hanna) and violist Evie Hilyer-Ziegler. Second of all, they recently performed as a support act for Irish post-punk thespians The Murder Capital, a show that made the audience’s collective jaw drop.

Audiences described CUSK as resonant folk rock, with side trips to indie rock and post-punk, with instruments and voice intricately snaking around each other to conspire into sonorous finales.
