1 September 2026 – 31 May 2027

About the role
With our current Content Creator moving on, we are looking for a creative and proactive colleague to join our marketing team and take the lead on the (social media) content for MOMO Festival 2027.

As Content & Social media Creator, you help translate the festival experience to engaging digital content. From artist announcements and interviews to behind-the-scenes content and festival coverage, you create content that captures the spirit of MOMO and connects with our audience.

You will manage our social media channels, develop and execute content plans, coordinate artist assets and contribute to the wider marketing and communications efforts around the festival. Working closely with the (marketing) team, partners and artists, you help translate the MOMO experience to engaging stories.

Who are we looking for?
You are a creative all-rounder with an affinity for music, art and culture. You enjoy working proactively to create content and know how to turn ideas into content that resonates with our audience.

You are someone who:
– Has experience creating content for social media and digital platforms;
– Has a strong visual eye and a good sense of storytelling;
– Is comfortable working with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator);
– Enjoys creating video content and understands current (social media) trends;
– Works proactively and takes ownership of projects;
– Is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-moving festival environment;
– Speaks and writes English fluently (Dutch is a plus, but not required).

Most importantly: you are curious, enthusiastic and excited about what MOMO stands for.

What can you expect from us?
– An assignment at a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary festival, deeply rooted in the city of Rotterdam;
– A pleasant office environment where you’re always welcome;
— A fair compensation in line with the guidelines of the Dutch live music and festivals association (VNPF, scale 5, for freelance position we count with 150% of the fee in the CAO);
– A supportive team full of passionate idealists, who value new ideas and where initiative is encouraged. We work from a foundation of trust, not blind expectation.

 Even if you don’t quite meet all the criteria, we encourage you to apply. Above all, we’re looking for someone who’s a good fit.

How to apply?
Interested? Apply via the application form no later than Sunday 28 June 2026. As part of the application, you’ll be asked to upload your CV and motivation letter, as well as answer a few short questions to help us get to know you better. First interviews will take place on Wednesday 15 July.

About MOMO

Since 2001, Motel Mozaïque (MOMO) has been a space for connection between artists, audiences, venues, and ideas. We’re an ever-moving mosaic of people, music, art, and culture, shaped by values of equality, empathy, and curiosity. We create connections between artists and audiences, open doors to hidden locations, and offer both locals and visitors a fresh perspective on Rotterdam.

Motel Mozaïque is a non-profit cultural foundation with three main branches: MOMO Festival, our three-day city-wide celebration of music and the arts; MOMO Concerts, an ongoing concert series throughout Rotterdam; and MOMO Create, our platform for talent development. Across these activities, we produce and present contemporary voices and stories that spark inspiration and bring people closer together.
