On April 6, 2023, we will be welcoming our Flemish friends from dEUS back to Rotterdam for the first time since 2015, this time for a concert at the Maassilo as part of the How To Replace It Tour.
Ten years ago, dEUS released their last album, and audiences have been eagerly awaiting new work from the Belgian band ever since. On Feb. 17, 2023, their new album How To Replace It will finally see the light of day. The band has been around for 28 years now, and their wildly acclaimed album The Ideal Crash celebrated its 20th anniversary several years ago. But if the above makes you think that these guys have gotten old and boring, you’d be dead wrong.
The upcoming album contains exactly what you have been looking for for years. It’s a refreshing work that surprises and amazes, yet the undeniable dEUS sound has not been lost. The songs are cleverly put together and somewhat strange, as always, but more than anything the album is very innovative, which is what this band has been praised for by so many. But it’s not just the recordings that are highly acclaimed, as their live shows are equally legendary (we saw them in top form at Best Kept Secret last summer), and it will be no different on April 6, 2023 in the Maassilo.
