During MOMO Festival 2025, the Dutch-Moroccan artist performed two sold-out shows: one at Rotown, packed to the rafters, and another on the rooftop of Hofbogen at Luchtpark. Now she brings her boundary-pushing sound back to the city.

Drawing from her North-African heritage, Roufaida combines unconventional melodies with metaphorical songwriting shaped by Arabic poetry. Influenced by artists like Rosalía, Björk, and Arooj Aftab, she honors multiple traditions while creatively expanding upon them.

Her 2023 Roufaida EP brought international attention, with standout tracks like Don’t Bend, featuring the deep tones of the Moroccan guembri, and Kalimat, inspired by Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani. The EP earned two Edison Award nominations and brought her to stages across Europe and Morocco, including Down The Rabbit Hole, Into The Great Wide Open, and Noorderslag. Critics praised her as “a true discovery” (De Volkskrant) and called “Don’t Bend” “the coolest groove of the year” (Humo).

Son Little returns to Rotterdam following his sold-out show at LantarenVenster in 2024.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.

Created during lockdown in a cabin overlooking the Delaware River, his latest album Like Neptune marks a departure from the existential weight of earlier releases. This time, pure creative freedom takes center stage.

The American artist has worked with The Roots, RJD2, and Portugal. the Man, and produced soul legend Mavis Staples’ 2015 EP (including a GRAMMY-winning track). For Like Neptune, he returned to his roots in beat making, crafting the album’s core on iPad apps before adding live instrumentation. The result fuses ’70s era Bowie and psychedelic cumbia with contemporary R&B across twelve tracks.

Livingston describes the album as “my inner R&B Boy Band”, with each song led by a different version of himself. His signature rasp guides the listener through these meditations on inner peace, supported by percussionist Aaron Draper and synth player Deshawn ‘Dvibes’ Alexander.

An intimate evening with one of R&B’s most distinctive voices.

British drummer, percussionist and composer Tom Skinner returns to Rotterdam on 22 January 2026!

Ticket are on sale now via Ticketmaster.

Remember Tom Skinner’s memorable artist residency at MOMO Festival 2024, where he presented his work across three days in unique settings throughout Rotterdam? Now the British drummer returns to the city with his latest project.

Skinner has spent two decades at the heart of London’s underground music scene, performing with Sons of Kemet and The Smile (alongside Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood). Yet it’s in his recent solo work where his singular vision truly shines: music where jazz tradition meets experimental freedom, where composed beauty dissolves into improvised spontaneity.

His latest album Kaleidoscopic Visions captures this alchemy perfectly. With a stellar quintet featuring two tenor saxophones, cello, double bass and Skinner’s evocative percussion, the music shifts like light through a prism. From meditative passages to soaring collective improvisation, these are compositions that breathe, that demand attention while rewarding every moment of it.

This intimate concert offers a rare chance to experience Skinner’s kaleidoscopic world up close, in the seated setting of LantarenVenster.
