Motel Mozaïque 2012 in the press:

3voor12
“Motel Mozaique was again wonderfully Rotterdam, with the Theater as the main location, the familiar guided tours and sleeping accommodations in unusual places. For example, people slept in tents on the roof of the Hofbogen, the special atmospheric new location that turned out to be a great asset to the festival.”

Kicking The Habit
“It is great to see how the Motel Mozaïque festival has visibly taken over the city center even more than before in this twelfth edition. Apart from all the performances in the evenings, there is more to see and experience in various places during the day than ever, even for unsuspecting passers-by.”

OOR
“The twelfth edition of the multi-arts festival Motel Mozaïque feels like coming home. Coming home to old friends after a year’s absence. Every year, the Rotterdam festival welcomes the few thousand visitors who come to Schouwburgplein, the epicenter of the festival in the port city.”

“Without a matching program, MoMo will probably not be such a successful festival that sells out every year and has such a good atmosphere. However, these free activities add a lot to the atmosphere. You will not only find festival goers on Schouwburgplein. Curious Rotterdammers also come to watch. And anyone who has not bought a ticket can still experience some of the music and experience the atmosphere.”

NRC
“Even more than in previous years, the Motel Mozaique festival took over the city center of Rotterdam. At the twelfth edition, all stops were pulled out on fifteen stages; mainly musically, but also through street art in places that confronted non-festival visitors.”

Telegraph
“Experiencing is believing: Motel Mozaïque goes much further musically than the Pinkpops and Lowlands of this world, but that is precisely its charm.”

In the 2012 Motel Mozaïque started promoted all year round live music events featuring Blaudzun, Tori Amos, Tindersticks, The Kyteman Orchestra and more.
