Higher VAT will affect us all, raise your voice now!

Experiencing art, music and performance is something truly special. Unfortunately, due to the upcoming VAT increase from 9% to 21%, such experiences will soon become inaccessible for many. Research shows that there will be fewer festivals, with 1.5 million fewer festival visits; fewer concerts, with 900,000 fewer visits to performing arts; and fewer creators, as 82% of workers in culture and media expect reduced income. Additionally, there will be less theater, with another 900,000 fewer visits to performing arts.

This means significantly less art and less MOMO for everyone!  We advocate against this higher VAT because it impacts everyone involved in the arts and culture sector.
