Laena Myers

Singer-songwriter + multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for the avant-garde from Los Angeles, CA. She studied classical violin for 15 years and has spent the last 18 years touring and recording internationally as a singer, songwriter and musician specializing in violin, bass, and guitar.

On her solo debut album Laena Myers’ (formerly of FEELS, The Like, Numb.er) punk background of guitar-based songwriting merges with her classical/experimental roots and love for singing ballads. Combined, this leads to a depth of emotion that cuts to the heart of even the most hardened.

Laena performs live with varying accompaniment, currently playing songs off the upcoming album as well as new songs, interspersed with improvised violin and guitar loops.

Laena Myers is set to release her debut solo album, LUV (Songs Of Yesterday). Released on Taxi Gauche Records, the 11-track collection is the first to feature the genre-spanning composer,  session violinist/singer and former chronic band member putting her own name to her recordings.
