Tyler Ballgame might be a relatively new name around the block, his live shows are already the stuff of legend. Possessed with an expressive voice that puts him in the rarified air of figures like Roy Orbison and Harry Nilsson, Ballgame released his lauded 2025 Rough Trade debut For The First Time, Again with incredible critical fanfare. 

Ballgame’s songs, as The Guardian puts it, are “sounding almost as if they have always existed”, radiating an exuberance and tenderness that’s ancored by deeper melancholy.
