The Strypes (IE)

The Strypes is onlangs door NME getipt als één van de ‘Most Exciting New Bands Of 2013’.  The Strypes is een vierkoppige rhythm and blues-band uit Cavan (Ierland) en is opgericht in 2011 door Ross Farrelly (zang / mondharmonica), Josh McClorey (lead gitaar / zang), Pete O’Hanlon (basgitaar / mondharmonica) en Evan Walsh (drums). De groep lanceert in januari hun explosieve R&B aanval in de UK en Europa. Wij vermoeden dat ze rake klappen gaan uitdelen met hun debuutalbum, mede door hun no-nonsense blues repertoire.
