From a sold-out Heineken Music Hall to performing with Kamasi Washington and Oleta Adams: as part of ZO! Gospel Choir made Anne-Fay known at a young age.
Together with her brother she also built an amazing live performance under the name Cookachoo – the duo played at festivals like Lowlands and Eurosonic Noorderslag.
Anne-Fay is now fully committed to her solo career and takes a backpack full of different influences, including hip-hop, gospel and soul. After two years in the studio with producers Mihai Puscoiu and Reynard ‘Mucky’ Bargmann (Sevdaliva, Wiley) the singles ‘Lioness’ and ‘Rise’ are her first achievements.

Van een uitverkochte Heineken Music Hall tot optreden met Kamasi Washington en Oleta Adams: als onderdeel van ZO! Gospel Choir maakte Anne-Fay op jonge leeftijd de nodige meters.
Samen met haar broer bouwde ze onder de naam Cookachoo bovendien aan een behoorlijke livereputatie – het duo stond op festivals als Lowlands en Eurosonic Noorderslag.
Inmiddels legt Anne-Fay zich volledig toe op haar solocarrière en neemt ze een rugzak vol verschillende invloeden met zich mee, waaronder hiphop, gospel en soul. Na twee jaar in de studio met producers Mihai Puscoiu en Reynard ‘Mucky’ Bargmann (Sevdaliza, Wiley) zijn de singles ‘Lioness’ en ‘Rise’ haar eerste wapenfeiten.
