Spend the night in the best hostels

The best hostels in the Netherlands can be found in Rotterdam! The leading booking platform Hostelworld has named Ani & Haakien ‘Best Hostel of the Netherlands’ in 2017. In 2015 and 2016 this honorable title was in the hands of fellow townsman King Kong.

Don’t worry about the last train!

Not living near Rotterdam and still want to visit Motel Mozaïque? Then you obviously do not want to have to run to catch that last train home, be the responsible driver or just travel at night. The way to a nice comfortable bed can be easier than that when you decide to sleep in one of the incredible hostels in the heart of Rotterdam:

• Ani & Haakien
• King Kong
• ROOM
• Sparks

We have made a budget friendly deal for you with all four of these hostels! You can spend the night on Thursday 19 April (King Kong only), Friday 20 April & Saturday 21 April 2018 (all hostels) to enjoy the full MOMO18 experience till the late hours.

An overnight stay in one of the above hostels costs you only 25 euro p.p.p.n. That includes bed linen, towel, breakfast and tourist tax, excluding key deposit and any deposit for locker.

I want this! What do I have to do?

➪ Go to Ticketmaster via our ticket page and select a ticket for 1, 2 or 3 festival days. In the next step you can book an overnight stay in a hostel on top (as an upsell) of your festival ticket. If you already have a festival ticket you can also just buy a hostel ticket via the ticket page.

➪ Then send an e-mail to slapen@motelmozaique.nl indicating how many people you will bring on your sleepover and if you want your preference for a particular hostel.

➪ We make a nice layout and try to take everyone’s wishes into account.

The offer consists of dorms for 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 16 people so think of which friends you will ask along for MOMO18! Check below which hostel you prefer.

Our favourite hostels

Ani & Haakien

Hostel Ani & Haakien is only a short walk from Central Station. With the intention to make the guests feel at home during their stay, they have furnished the cozy shared living room and their garden with a friendly cat you can pet! For guests with a cat allergy, Ani & Haakien are happy to offer an allergy pill.

Are you almost knocked out after a night of MOMO? Then you can relax in the hammock in the garden when the weather is in your favour or prepare a midnight snack in the shared kitchen.

ROOM

Hostel ROOM is a unique theme hostel in Rotterdam located at the beautiful Scheepvaartkwartier in the middle of the city center. It is housed in a beautifully renovated national monument from 1923 in Art Deco style. The 17 themed rooms each have a special link with Rotterdam. Stunning architecture, cool shopping streets and the port of Rotterdam are all just outside your door!

King Kong

The property of King Kong Hostel has a long history, it previously served as a tattooshop, illegal casino and a famous brothel. Now the owners have transformed it into a super cool hostel with industrial design combined with 21st century contemporary art.

The hostel is located between the restaurants and cafes in the center for contemporary art: Witte de Withstraat. This busy street is alive till late bedtime hours and the perfect spot for social animals. You can roll straight into bed from MOMO-location WORM, unless you want to grab a bite first? At 4 o’clock at night you can still go to countless spots in the Witte de With!

Sparks

Sparks Hostel is a brand new, modern decorated hostel with comfortable beds. The hostel is centrally located, close to Rotterdam Central and around the corner from the Kruiskade, between the many restaurants where you can taste different cultures. Of course you can also play off all the festivalstress here, for example by playing a board game in the relaxed lobby.

This hostel offers a wonderful service called ‘Reception in your pocket’: if you need tips on trips or a nice place to have your dinner you can message them on WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
