Unruly Phoenix

Unruly Phoenix, also known as Gabrielle Gilliot, is a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer. Since her childhood in Suriname, Unruly Phoenix consumed a wide variety of music and got inspiration by deejays like Black Coffee, Martin Garrix , Boris Brejcha, & DJ Futego.

In 2019 she took a leap of faith and came to the Netherlands to start with her deejay journey. She spent the pandemic practicing at DJ Booth Camp Rotterdam and in 2021 she fell in love with the new genre taking the world by storm: Amapiano. It all started when DJ Waxfiend gave her the opportunity to make her debut at Ziongate in Paradiso in 2021.

You can now find her name at the lineup of almost every Afrolectic party in the Netherlands playing along side other international deejays as Black Coffee, Major League djz, Dbngogo , Waxfiend & Philou Louzolo.

In the meantime, Gabrielle also started producing her own singles, collaborating with other artists and this summer she has been spreading the Amapiano culture also in Berlin, Ibiza, Luxemburg and Switzerland.
