The Slow Show
You would think a handsome, talented, five some from Manchester wouldn’t have any problems entering the ranks of fellow Mancunians Elbow, Oasis and the Stone Roses. But no, The Slow Show orchestrated their own Brexit and found their way on tours through Europe and the USA. According to them they sound ‘northern’, translate that to The National, choirs and brass players, but no excesses and a voice not unlike Johnny Cash on his last record. We’ve heard many stories of tears flowing readily during their concerts, so don’t forget to bring your tissues.
