The similarity between Sherelle’s DJ sets and big breakthrough? Both are lightning fast. Her 160 bpm sets – a cross-pollination between footwork, juke and jungle – were noticed by the likes of Pitchfork, The Guardian and DJMag. In 2021, the Londoner was a resident of BBC Radio 1 for the second year in a row. She also released her debut EP 160 Down The A406 – according to Resident Advisor ‘one of the year’s most exciting production debuts’. Everything points to Sherelle racing full throttle towards the top of the bass scene.
