s t a r g a z e is an international collective of classically trained musicians, they connect by exceeding of genres. You could call it a band, but to be just a band the members of s t a r g a z e are too much allured and inspired by contemporary pop, folk and electronica. At Motel Mozaique the company will be the first of a series of special adaptations of a modern classic: the much praised ‘Hi Scores EP ‘ by Boards of Canada. This new arrangement will experience its world premiere at Motel Mozaique! also s t a r g a z e interprets the alienating ‘What’s Become of the Baby’ Grateful Dead on a whole new way – a bizarre, eight-minute song thats already as mysterious, elusive and indefinable as s t a r g a z e itself.
