Roeland Otten (nl): MoMo artwork

The artwork of Motel Mozaique is provided by Roeland Otten since 2003. In 2001 he started a design studio in Rotterdam, with an emphasis on ‘media design’; from graphic design to new media and video, from product design to installations in public space. From 2002 to 2008 he was also part of ‘Holland Interactive’ that focuses on developing interactive concepts such as: websites, games and installations. Roeland Otten also works regularly as an independent producer and organizer of cultural events. In 2007 one of his designs for Motel Mozaique was featured in the exhibition “That’s a nice poster” in the ‘Rotterdamse Kunsthal’. It’s about time to offer the public a retrospective of his remarkable artwork for MoMo. A compilation of posters, flyers etc. from 2003 to 2011 is exhibited at two venues.
