    Array

We are proud to announce that we and our friends from KINO are presenting a live film score to of our favorite animated films, by one of the best musicians in the Netherlands. Oscar winner Michael Dudok de Wit animated The Red Turtle together with the masters of Studio Ghibli, and we can’t get enough of this beautiful fairytale. Especially with the enchanting new score by Remy van Kesteren, which he’ll be performing live for the very first time on Wednesday 15 April. A second performance is on Saturday April 18 during the daytime program of MOMO Festival.

    The Red Turtle

    ★★★★★ “A breathtaking fairytale” – Het Parool
★★★★ “The most beautiful animated film of 2016” – NRC Handelsblad

    Remy van Kesteren

From the academy of music to world famous orchestra, to the club – the journey of harpist Remy van Kesteren is one of beautiful music and far-flung corners. His love for classical music is big and remains his basis, but van Kesteren decided to broaden his horizon by making popmusic.

“I want to tell stories with my music and create new worlds. I think it’s a very exciting challenge how you can reload existing images with music and give it a new meaning.”
