For the last decade or so, the London jazzscene has been buzzing like never before, thanks to the likes of artists like Yussef Days, Henry Wu and Joe Armon-Jones. Add Oscar Jerome to that list and its complete.
He never did finish his degree in Jazz Guitar, but the stage seemed as good a place as any to gain experience. The singer-songwriter has already played Glastonbury and the Great Escape and has also been named as one of the most promising jazz musicians of the moment, even though he only has two EP’s to his name. And he doesn’t feel completely comfortable with that title though, as he gets as much of his inspiration from artists like Gil-Scott Heron, J Dilla and The Clash.
