In a previous life Leon Bridge was a dishwasher who had no clue what to do with his life, until he found his talent for writing beautiful pure soul songs. His album Coming Home (2015) is one of the most charming debuts of the year, full of naked songs and modest romance. With this album he immediately got himself a Grammy-nomination. He is young, only in his twenties, but has a feeling for style and simple ‘60s soul songs that would even make Otis Redding jealous. Leon Bridge is a modern classis, a young puppy with an old soul.
