In 2011, after the releasing his first album ‘Mirrorwriting’, Jamie Woon got labelled as the big promise. With his follow op album ‘Making Time’ (2015) we welcome him as a long lost son. In the 5 years meantime, the English songwriter and producer sought to simplify his life and his music. Consequently the dubstep-soul crossover, which gave him a crowd, has transformed into the more acoustic sounding ‘Making Time’. But the grooves are still there; with a more prominent roll and some extra breathing space. Like not other, Jamie Woon sounds both sexy and hypothermic.
