Grandaddy

March 3rd will have already have found its way in your calendar, with at least 8 reminders, as the day the Grandaddy will send their latest album, ‘Last Place’, into the world. Lyle and his lo-fi friends have been stuck in the nineties – long enough for us to fall in love with their ‘atmospheric electronic Americana’ all over again. Ten years after ‘ Just Like The Fambly Cat’ nothing has really changed: fuzzy guitars, spaced out synth organs and the spontaneous impuls to take out Weezer and Pavement from your record collection, at high volume. Hurray for preservation!
