Fabiana Palladino doesn’t have her musical talent from a stranger: her mother is a backing vocalist and her father played bass for giants like The Who, Nine Inch Nails and D’Angelo. Palladino herself has played as a studio musician for Sampha, Maccabees, Ghostpoet and SBTRKT, while working on her own material in the proverbial wings.
Her career gained momentum when a few years ago she suddenly received an email from leading British producer Jai Paul, who appeared impressed by her demos on Soundcloud. In 2017, Palladino was one of the first artists to sign to Jai Paul’s label The Paul Institute. Since then, she has released a handful of singles, all with an eighties-pop vibe that included praise from Swedish pop icon Robyn. She is currently working on her first record.
