Efrat Zehavi (NL)
Natural disasters, war, revolution, nuclear threat, security cameras: fear seems to be taking the upper hand in every aspect of today’s media. Efrat Zehavi’s latest art work ‘De Angstfabriek’ (‘The Fear Factory’) invites the audience to make their own fears known. The artist reconstructs the fears and shapes them through an image of colored soft clay sculptures, which are then photographed: a ritual to dispel the fear.
