AlunaGeorge (GB)
AlunaGeorge consists of producer George Reid and singer Aluna Francis. They met through the internet when George remixed a song of Aluna’s previous band My toys like Me. Together they create a new kind of pop music with influences of Flying Lotus and Chris Clark to Aaliyah and Destiny’s Child. Although Aluna and George have not been making music together for very long, they have already created a set of contagious mixes of Aluna’s harmonious voice and Georges’ electronic tunes. Their debut album will be released later this year.
