Grey sideburns, stylish suits, ponderous guitar riffs, plus a penchant for sipping a good glass of wine amidst the aural onslaught. Only one band fits this description: Flemish rock juggernaut Triggerfinger, who will be performing in a unique location in the Rotterdam harbour: the Onderzeebootloods (former submarine station).
A couple of years ago our favorite messieurs Ruben Block, Mario Goossens and Paul van Bruystegem might’ve found unexpected mainstream success with their sultry rendition of Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers, they’re still rock ’n roll animals at heart. Employing Motörhead’s pummel, Marc Bolan’s swing and QOTSA’s virtue, these guys can tread the poshest of nightclubs without batting an eye after battering a festival crowd to submission. Triggerfinger are as classy as they are a class of their own, once again primed to blow us all away!
