Benjamin Clementine impresses at Great Wide Open

Fascinating story: on his way to the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam Benjamin Clementine was ‘thrown out’ of a train cause he had no ticket and no telephone on which he could show his ticket. He decided to walk to Rotterdam. But he didn’t make it on time. After his slot on the festival he called from Dordrecht.

Fortunately he made it to the island of Vlieland for his show at the festival Into The Great Wide Open. He impressed with a beautiful performance at a theater in the forest. Read the 3voor12 review here (in Dutch only).

Hopefully Benjamin will make it to Rotterdam on time on December 7th for his show in LantarenVenster…
