PANTA RHEI

Pianist, composer and producer Niklas Paschburg is coming to LantarenVenster in Rotterdam on Sunday, April 2, 2023 with music from his new album Panta Rhei, to be released March 17th on !K7 Records. The Hamburg-born artist explores the unbounded world of electronic and post-classical music coming from deep within the self. His melodies are cinematic and hypnotic, and he builds his sonic world using accordion, synthesizers, effects and piano.

In 2014, Niklas Paschburg debuted with the single Dawn, which captures the pulse of a city and evokes the sound of urban life. On the contrary, his following EP Tuur Mang Welten takes the listener into calmer, darker musical atmospheres. Niklas’ debut album Oceanic is like a trip to the Baltic Sea, a place he has visited since childhood. The title and music of his yet-to-be-released new album Panta Rhei are inspired by the notion from Heraclitus’ Greek philosophy that everything flows.
